Glatiramer Acetate Injection Dosing

Glatiramer Acetate Injection is available in two dosing options. Your healthcare provider will determine which dose and schedule is right for you.

20 mg/mL
ONCE DAILY
20 mg/mL subcutaneous injection
  • Inject once daily
  • 30 single-dose pre-filled syringes per carton
  • White syringe plunger
  • NDC: 82983-429-30
40 mg/mL
3× PER WEEK
40 mg/mL subcutaneous injection
  • Three times per week - Mon, Wed, Fri
  • At least 48 hours must separate doses
  • 12 single-dose pre-filled syringes per carton
  • Blue syringe plunger | NDC: 82983-430-12

Glatiramer acetate injection 20 mg/mL and 40 mg/mL are not interchangeable. Use only the strength and schedule prescribed by your healthcare provider.

Your healthcare provider will determine which dosing schedule is right for you. Do not change your dose or schedule without consulting your provider.

SAFE USE & ADMINISTRATION

General Dosing Instructions

  • Inject subcutaneously (under the skin) only - do not inject into a vein
  • Use a different injection site each time
  • Each pre-filled syringe is for single use only - do not reuse
  • Do not use if the solution is cloudy, colored, or contains particles
ADHERENCE GUIDANCE

If You Miss a Dose

If you miss a dose, contact your healthcare provider or pharmacist for instructions. Do not change your dose or dosing schedule unless your healthcare provider tells you to.
