Glatiramer Acetate Injection is a prescription medicine that is used to treat relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS), to include clinically isolated syndrome, relapsing-remitting disease, and active secondary progressive disease, in adults.
Store refrigerated at 36°F to 46°F (2°C to 8°C). If needed, glatiramer acetate injection may be stored at room temperature, 59°F to 86°F (15°C to 30°C), for up to one month. Protect from light. Do not freeze.
Inject 40 mg subcutaneously 3× per week (with ≥48 hrs between doses)
Recommended schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
